If it helps, The pad sounds like Octave C on the bottom with Octave C on the top
Octave C on the bottom drones on and you move a pattern like this on top.
e --c / d--c / and c - c octave again.so on top…"
"Learn Sweet home Alabama to get the basic electric Southern Rock rhythm style down. Ok, you don't have to learn it, but that is a good example of good Electric rhythm. If I use a tube amp, I can get more strings in a distorted chord without it…"
"I found these 2 videos and most of the other videos by this guy super super helpful, always been reasonable at tuning but this has helped me to another notch.

"I came from extremes in churches on both sides of the argument.
I was raised in a denomination where the general teaching was that you can be saved, but sin separates you from God and you should renew your salvation or get saved again.…"
The tips really help. I think torque key sounds good. I have only seen the more expensive ones tuning devices. The tips on the heads will help too as I am clueless on what is a good brand.
"The Remo bass drum head I bought came with a round reinforcement ring (4 inches). It has an adhesive side. You just stick that where you want the hole. Then you carefully take an exacto blade and cut out the inside of the hole. Perfect circle. They…"
"you can buy Evan Torque Key. it lets you adjust different tension and it evens the tension to each nut. Very useful. You can try by your own self with different tension and what it created out. it is similar to Tama tension watch, but easier, and…"
"I agree...I found all kinds of videos on YouTube for tuning drums. They've helped me and my son (he's the drummer, not me!).
My advice is to watch a bunch and pick out the recurring themes. The extra nuances will then begin to make sense."
Hi Jeff, I have sent you a friend request and wanted to let you know that I have a group on here you may be interested in PA (Engineer's Corner) were we cover all sides of PA work (Including recording) please feel free to join if you want. God Bless Frank
I lead worship with the 1st to 5th graders at church every Sunday, so I know your joys and pains! lol! Definitely more joys! We had a young, vibrant young lady from the church who led worship with the kids for about a year a while back. One of the older boys in the group told his mom last week, "I miss (the young lady--who also went to another church) but Miss Kathy is like family!" That did it! It made my day and made it all worth while!
H Jeff thank you........well Surround me was spontanious and I believe that is where the Lord wants to take us into his presence not so orchestrated maybe that is what you are feeling about regarding the anointing ..........just ask God what he wants you to do .........and he will show you ....let me know bless you
I was wondering? I am using Cubase le and it seams to work well enough I was going to up grade. But maybe I should spend the money on Wavelab instead? do you have any opinions? please let me know.
Welcome, it's great to have you join. I had a look at your comment on recording. It's great having a family who love the Lord and music too! My wife sings and both my children play so it's been a great pleasure to serve in our church on the music team together.
All the best with your recording.
