Jim, I started a discussion on Worship The Rock asking everyone if their church is on Facebook and I've gotten many replies so far. You might be interested in reading some of the replies. It has been good feedback.

Tami would be the one to ask about this. She created the ACC Facebook page but had a little trouble at first. We have three church members mentioned as Administrators for this project, Tami, Kristen McKinley and myself. I'll tell Tami you were asking for some help with this. Her e-mail address is abbotttami@yahoo.com

Hey Jim, this is an idea that our church recently started. We discovered that some very large churches are creating their own Facebook page. The social networking sites are getting so popular with people our age and younger that we created an Albany Christian Church Facebook page. We only started it a couple of weeks ago but I feel it will be a great way for our church to stay connected with each other. It's also great for announcing events. The Mt. Pleasant Community Church is one of the churches that had a Facebook page and it was linked to their website. We've got our website link on our Facebook page and eventually will have a Facebook link on our website. Tell Jerry I said for him to get into 2009 and get himself a Facebook page.

Yes!!! I can see how this site will be really helpful to churches of any size but especially the smaller church. You can even create your own group here where people can become members. For example, "Pastors Dealing With Red-Headed Drummers", lol. I've joined the group for small churches and I can see how we'll be support for each other.

Welcome aboard Mr. Amstutz!! It's interesting to check-out the set lists that other churches are doing. It's also great to join the support groups that interest you, you can help others and be helped. There are support groups for bass guitarists, electric guitar, keyboards, etc, etc, etc.
We wish we could see all of you more often, tell everyone we said hi ya'll.
