Simple Christmas Guitar Chords

Okay.. I'm going nuts. This is to be honest my third year searching for Christmas music only to fail. I found a few songs last year, but as Christmas becomes more popular here in Japan, it is also…Continue

Loop Station

Hi, So, I had to sell one of my guitars to afford this, but I recently purchased a Boss RC-50 Loop Station. I was wondering if anyone has ever used this in worship? Or, has any thing to say about…Continue

Profile Information

Home Church:
Calvary Chapel Okinawa CCOKI カルバリーチャペル沖縄
Musical Gift(s):
Guitar, Drums, Piano, Harmonica, learning the 日本さんしん
About Me:
Me (Fred) and my family of five are serving the Lord as missionaries in Okinawa, Japan. In 2007 we left the White Mountains of Arizona to move 6,000 miles overseas to a tiny island in the Pacific. I grew up on the beaches of Coronado California so living on the water is truly where my heart is. We currently teach at New Life Academy and serve faithfully at Calvary Chapel Okinawa. Our love for God and His Word is at the center of our family and we humbly desire to bring glory to Him.
In the last few years the Lord has been moving me more into the role of leading worship and living a lifestyle of worship. Dying to myself for His Glory. As far as music goes, I grew up watching my dad play drums at various Calvary Chapels and "Fellowships." I fell away after my mother passed away I was 17 and I tried my best to self destruct. My extent of music was playing guitar on the streets of Seattle to support my habits at the time. Three years later I prayed a simple prayer, met my wife, and came running back to the Lord after I was as low as I could possible be after messing everything up. I then Went to Southern California Bible College and studied the Word. I failed the two music classes I ever took and figured God didn't want me in Music. Well... I guess I was wrong. He has better plans for me than I can make. I'm just trying to be obedient, and fall in love with Him and His Word daily. Serving Him with what I love to do. Play my guitar and sing.
Favorite Music:
I love just about anything.. But country music. Okay... I have been known to tap my foot at the occasional blue grass song, and when I was in Arizona I played a lot of older hymns that ended up sounding "rocka-billy"ish...
Favorite Bible Verses / Passages:
I love reading the book of Judges Then again.. 1-2nd Samuel are fun too.

Hey Brother, God bless you and thank you for your comment.   I actually already do a lot of mission work and I do work in the KINGDOM. When I joined this site I saw this to be an opportunity to join a  Christian website where I could fellowship with fellow worship leaders and not have to deal with negativity.  However you have proved me wrong in less than one day of even joining the site....WOW. Anyway. Soli Deo Gloria.  Have a Blessed and Happy New Year!

I totally understand the frustration of finding good puppet skits. We do mostly music or my husband writes them. The ones I found online for free were not good quality at all. One source we really love is onewaystreet.com. You DO have to pay for a book of skits, but they are really good and comes with a CD so you have all the voices and sound effects if you want. Let me know if you find anything worthwhile in your search for good puppet skits.

Thanks for the welcome! We've really enjoyed doing the puppets as well. We have found they are a great learning tool for all ages. I think the adults almost enjoy them more than the kids! Thanks for you work for the Kingdom!

yes, it's really a cool picture isn't it. It isn't me unfortunately, but the lady has a dish of sweet juice in her palm. We have gotten up to 27 hummingbirds feeding from our feeders AT ONE TIME - it's pretty amazing when that happens.

Wow, that is awesome, I wonder if I know some of them. Thank you for the welcome. My husband went with our Men's Group to Cannon Beach men's Retreat and was really blessed by the speaker and the musicians this last weekend. That blesses me!
