Carl replied to Pas S Samson's discussion 'What is the reason of friction between sound and music team ? What shall be done ?'

"I use a 4 string because it's the only bass I own.  (I know that's really profound!)  If I could choose, though, I'd prefer a 5 string bass just because some songs just need a low D or low C.  Until I can get a 5…"

Profile Information

Home Church:
Calvary Chapel of Belfast, Maine
Musical Gift(s):
Piano, Bass, Songwriting, Audio Skills
About Me:
I graduated from Philadelphia Biblical University with a degree in Music Composition and another in Bible. While there I held a job as an audio-visual engineer and ran the recording studio among other live events. I now currently hold a job as a software tester (with a passion to learn programming) while I have a side business that provides original processionals for weddings (as well as live piano music). I am involved with Calvary Chapel of Belfast, ME, a fairly new but vibrant and growing church. I do the worship planning, lead band rehearsals, play piano and bass (not at the same time). I also oversee all things audio-visual or computer related. My wife Jenna also plays the piano; beautifully, I might add (and so is her playing!).
Favorite Music:
I have a wide variety of taste from all sorts of classical to hip-hop and harder forms of rock.
Favorite Bible Verses / Passages:
Ephesians 2:8,9 - For it is by grace you have been saved through faith; not as a result of works, lest any man should boast.
