thats nice. May God bless you and use you man. I started helping in church in music at a very young age and thats helped me build up to sustain enough for 9 services. Its just the grace of God. Well, I too lead with the bass. Normally I do that in the youth service. Have a service this evening. Planning on playing the guitar. My latest fascination is lead. So am trying it out ha ha

It's a Yamaha YTS52. Wish I could afford a Selmer. What kind of horn do you play?

hey Mark, its great to hear from you. It is awesome to be in India and minister for the glory of God. Lots of people hungry for God and to be used by God and to be able to minister among them is truly a privilege. It is challenging of course cause we do face oppositions if different sorts but thats makes it all the more interesting and gives more motivation to do it for the Word of God truly and rightly says that we have just one life to live and what we've done for Christ is what is gonna last. I work as the music pastor in a church here in India. We minister to more than 17,000 people on a Sunday. I usually minister through music in 9 services on a Sunday. It is hectic but awesome and a blessing. I love music man. It is a gift that God has given me. Haven't learnt music as a profession but I play by ear and can find my way around. So what do you do? Hope to hear from you. God bless you.

as long as that!!!! with 3 of us (before the rest of the band arrive) we set ours up in 30 mins. the desk is on wheels and already setup just turn the power on and eh presto. I suppose this is what takes you if it is not on a table with wheels etc), the speakers are on wheels and are lifted onto stands in position, the Multicore is plugged into the wall and the monitors are put into position with XLR cables in position with mic stands in position with keyboard stands etc (the musicians are responsible for setting their own equipment up. we have been doing it like that for a few years now and we are a dab hand at it. thankfully. (it takes us a bit longer to put it away that's coz we take it easy and make sure it is put away in the right place so it comes out quicker)

we have to set up each week as the main auditorium is also used in the week as a sports Hall ( we have a multi function building ) so yes in a way we are mobile lol

IF you want to look at my church website you will find pictures of the building

http://www.community-house.co.uk/facilities/groundfloor

this will take you to some pics of the ground floor part of the building etc I am sure you can work the rest out from that.

Talk soon

Frank
