Does God stop to be the God of Love, if He will throw the unbelievers or unrepentant to hell?

Many of us could not harmonize God's kindness with His sternness. But if we just set aside our human reasoning and accept what God's Word says, we could also "appreciate" His Wrath -- not only His Divine Love.

Study Psalms 136 and begin to see how His lovingkindness permeates His every act, even in such action in verses 15, 17-18"

"...swept Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea;
His love endures forever."

"...struck down great kings,
His love endures forever.
and killed mighty kings --
His love endures forever" (NIV).

Could we not believe that God's love endures forever, though He destroyed the earth by flood during the time of Noah, He "rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah," or He would punish the wicked in hell?

God would not be God if he was not Holy and righteous. His holiness requires nothing less than to be in the presence of holiness. Non-believers can not be in his presence. Only the blood of Christ is sufficient to make us fit to be in His presence. Without the shed blood with the acceptance of him as our savior are we redeemed and the price for our being unfit to be in God's presence is paid. God made the way, man chooses the way.
