See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don't recognize that we are God's children because they don't know him. I John 3:1 (NLT)
Love is defined many different ways; depends on who you ask. It is a subject that when you ask ten different people about it you may well get ten different responses. But the Word tells us that God Himself is love (I John 4: 8, 16). Jesus said in John 3:16 that God loved us SO much that He sent Jesus so we would not have to die apart from Him, but live eternally in Him. If you're looking for love, turn your heart to seek God. He is the greatest, most unchangeable love you will ever find. God will always love us, no matter what we've done, or where we've been. I believe that when God gives us something He then places a demand on it; He wants it back. He wants us to give what He has given us back to Him, which means we cannot keep His love to ourselves. He means for us to share it (I John 4:11). He wants us to love Him back with our lives and our service to others. If you don't believe God loves you, take a deep breath. Or go outside and feel the wind or the sun on your face. Even if there are clouds instead of sunshine today, God still gave you today. Receive His love and praise Him for it. Walk in the freedom of God's unconditional love for you. Some people sit in church every Sunday and miss worship because they don't believe God loves them. But don't miss worship this Sunday, Resurrection Sunday. It is a day of total celebration - a celebration of love!
