I asked you guys to lift them up in prayer a few weeks ago, and they need it again...Tricia's lymphoma (one of the possible complications from a double lung transplant) has not responded to chemo, so they're bringing out the big guns - This is not exactly easy, given all the anti-rejection meds Tricia has to take..
Please keep them in prayer...This family has a faith in the Lord that others yearn for, and their lives are a testament to God's provision for us...
Here's the link to Nate's blog again - Confessions of a CF Husband
and to Tricia's - 64 Roses for Patty Sue
Even though I've never met them, I feel like through WorshipTogether.com's boards, and Nate's blog site, I've gotten to "know" them - and I'm sure TONS of people worldwide can say the same...
Stay strong guys - and even tho' this passage has been quoted millions of times, I think the Message puts it best, so be encouraged, and I'll be praying for you! (like always :D)
God doesn't come and go. God lasts.
He's Creator of all you can see or imagine.
He doesn't get tired out, doesn't pause to catch his breath.
And he knows everything, inside and out.
He energizes those who get tired,
gives fresh strength to dropouts.
For even young people tire and drop out,
young folk in their prime stumble and fall.
But those who wait upon God get fresh strength.
They spread their wings and soar like eagles,
They run and don't get tired,
they walk and don't lag behind. --- Isaiah 40:28-31
