People never think of this Why was I created? We don’t know and we do not care to understand why. The bible tells us the reasons why we were created and how we were created by God.
Genesis tells us that we “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion”. Gen 1:28 but in the bible do we not find any other purpose than worship which is a command from God wished it had been made part of the 10…Continue

Just ran across a verse and was struck by the power it holds for us as Musical Worship Leaders.
Amos 5:23-24 (NLT)
23 Away with your hymns of praise! They are only noise to my ears. I will not listen to your music, no matter how lovely it is. 24 Instead, I want to see a mighty flood of justice, a river of righteous living that will never run dry.
I want Him to hear my musical offerings, but have I abandoned the pursuit of justice and…Continue

Greetings to you in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you so much for all your valuable Prayers for our Jesus Gospel Ministry. “Success is when opportunity meets preparedness”, I have realized this is true for worship as well, those that meet with God are the prepared ones.
During the time of the exodus of the Israelites in wilderness every time they were told by Moses that God was coming to meet with them, they prepared themselves in Exodus 19:10-11 “And Jehovah said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to-day and to-morrow, and let them wash their garments, and be ready against the…Continue

The message in our Catalyst service at Central Baptist this past Sunday was about "Love, Forgiveness and Judgment". I must confess that I struggle terribly with this topic, not so much as it applies to our unseen foreign enemies, but in how it impacts our daily interactions and relationships.
The idea of loving and forgiving our enemies and of not being judgmental is really tough. Jesus says in Luke 6:27-28 ,“But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good…Continue

"Hold you!? Hold you!?"
My two year old son says this...all...the...time... He constantly wants me to hold him. If I'm around he wants me to hold him. If he knows I'm home I can hear him in the other room wanting me to hold him. I'm convicted by this in two ways. First, I'm convicted that the frequency of his request irritates me. If you are a parent you'll have greater empathy for my response, but that doesn't let me off the hook. To be blunt, his request and my reaction…

There was a child in a certain country and he got born again and with time God’s call grew so strong upon this now 14 year old about worship. He had an encounter with Jesus and the words that Jesus kept repeating to this young man were about worship, worship me’ Jesus said His words to the young man were all about worship. In the morning he started the biggest search of his life, he started with his school teacher, school dean, parents and even scheduled a meeting with the pastor on the…Continue

Dependent Artists (aka Dependent) is a place for Christians in the arts industries, whether indie or signed, to say publicly and in unity, that we are completely dependent upon Yeshua the Messiah!
