One of my favourite parts of creating new music is taking it out on the road. You really know if a song works or not when you’ve played it a live audience. Their reaction (of lack of!) can tell you a lot about the song and whether it is a hit or not. Over the last few months I’ve been performing at some of my favourite venues plus new places along the way. I love meeting people at concerts; you can have some great conversations with people on the back of a performance.
It would seem…Continue

Part 2 of the importance of worshipping at the feet of the Lord and going through scripture to see the kind of gates that are opened being at his feet with the focus is to understand what we are doing
Being at the feet of the Lord from the last issue we saw…

A lot of scripture references in the bible speak about feet, especially during the ministry of Jesus a lot of people threw themselves at his feet and worshipped him. My question came around onto why did they focus at his feet or why did they have to throw themselves at his feet.
“In Israel a lot of the people wear sandals more so in bible and the fact that much of the land there is arid to desert conditions and with little or no protective cover their feet would…Continue

When Moses stood on Mt. Sinai in Exodus Chapter 3, he saw a bush burning, but it wasn't being destroyed. He went in for a closer look and God began speaking to Him. God told him to take off his shoes because the place where he was standing was holy ground. The voice of God spoke through a burning bush. Moses was in the very presence of God. God had an assignment for him. He went up on that mountain a sheepherder, but came down a messenger to Pharaoh. Moses, although…Continue

It is so great seeing 50-100 salvations in our church per weekend and we are growing to fast for the building to keep up.
Sadly so many people being born again into the family of Christ, live like orphans in God's home.
To use a comparison, being born again is like entering the outer courts of the old temples. You are saved and have the grace of God, but you do not explore what God has in store for you. You dont get the big picture of this kingdom family. You still live…Continue

Having a 60 piece worship team all out of volunteers can drive me up the wall sometimes. Being the worship leader full time, allows me to sit down and do decent planning before a practice and service. However, relying on volunteers who are 90% self taught muso's, all have…Continue

There is an endless song
Echoes in my soul
I hear the music ring
And though the storms may come
I am holding on
To the rock I cling
How can I keep from singing Your praise
How can I ever say enough
How amazing is Your love
How can I keep from shouting Your name
I know I am loved by the King
And it makes my heart want to sing
I will lift my eyes
In the darkest night
For I know my Savior…

“When it comes to being broken before the Lord, which is best: asking the Lord to break us or breaking ourselves before the Lord. Do we either ask God to break us or we choose to break us?
“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite (smitten, broken in pieces) heart, O God, thou wilt not despise”, Psalms 51:17. Brokenness is a state of being living a smitten or shattered life and when you…Continue

But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God. . . and suddenly there came a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison house were shaken. .…Continue
Brokenness is a pivotal part of a worshipper lifestyle and that is one thing that separates worshippers apart. To break simply means to destroy, shatter into pieces. Brokenness also speaks about humility and a repentant heart and lifestyle
“Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall…Continue

Have been struggling for quite a while with our BOSS GT6. I was then playing a 50th anniversary edition Strat and a LINE6 amp through my BOSS. I was using it for two years or so when it started to make some annoying problems...I mean, very annoying. Imagine yourself in the middle of a gig- burried in the emotion with the song..suddenly my patch parameters change by itself. Basically changes and ruins the moment. Right in the middle of a riff ( a heavy riff) with gain to near feedback and…Continue
All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, O Lord; they will bring glory to your name. For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God. Psalm 86:9-10 (NIV)
Sometimes in life, perhaps all the time perspective is everything. One of the reasons people sit in church and miss worship every Sunday is because they don't have the proper perspective on God. When we go through difficult situations, which is…Continue
