What constitues "happiness"? I looked up the definition in Webster's 1828 Dictionary and one of the definitions I found was…
Being in the enjoyment of agreeable sensations from the possession of good; enjoying pleasure from the gratification of appetites or desires.
If there was no other way to experience happiness than that all of my surroundings, that is, circumstances and people I come into to contact with present to me a sensation that agrees with my desires and expectations, then… Continue

I have been feeling, for a while now, that change was on the horizon for me concerning my Wednesday night worship gig. Splitting my time between two churches that are so completely different has been very difficult for me, especially lately. My job on Wednesday nights has become just that, a job, and sometimes I've felt it to be a distraction of sorts. When I am continuously trying to make things happen (rather than letting God do it) and I'm constantly having to push, push, push in a spiritual… Continue

we are in the end times. Lets help are brothers & sisters who want ( want ) to know Jesus. get to know Him. so many fall away because nobody stood beside them. we can give them the milk of the word until they get stronger. this is our command to teach each other. let's stand out for Jesus

For years I have spread my music through Integrity Music and Brentwood Benson music. (and still do) I keep wondering how can I get this out to worship leaders quicker and more cost effective. This is how the iClub came about. It has turned into an amazing resource for worship leaders all around the world. we have new members daily joining our family. We would love to serve you.
The iClub is our way of serving the Kingdom. Every month we post up new music from Mark Condon, Eddie… Continue

Psalm 147:1 “Praise the Lord. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise Him!”
My heart becomes softer, fuller and better prepared to receive God's Word after a time of authentic, transcendent worship through song. I know I'm 'preaching to the choir' here but I believe that this is a great argument for not sending a song into retirement too quickly. There’s no question that this is especially difficult for us restless, creative, worship leader types… Continue

I am feeling very melancholy today. As some of you know, my family has been struggling for a little while now. We had our foreclosure hearing today. We were given another 45 days till judgement on our house. We have also been waiting to hear about a job in Idaho and have heard nothing. We seemingly have reached the end of our rope. Our car might be repossessed. I have some pain in my teeth and cannot see a dentist because the government insurance doesn't work and I can not afford it on my own.… Continue

Just sitting here watching CNN and other stations and all through my head the worship song "How Great is our God" is going through my mind. No matter whether one is Republican or Democrat, Black or white, you cannot deny the electricity in t he air. One of the old songs we sing is "We've Come this Far by Faith, Leaning on the Lord". That is how I feel right now. Never, never, never in my lifetime did I dream that I would live to see a time like this. Proof that prayer's work. Prayers of our… Continue

I truely believe that we as worship leaders have an obligation to keep our relationship with the Holy Spirit fresh and in the moment. We need to study the word of God daily and pray constantly to keep the Word of God stimulating our thoughts and actions. At service time we must lead the way into the presence of God in the Throne Room. If we can go there easily, then the rest of the people can get there with us and be blessed. So many don't understand the importance of spending time daily in… Continue

Today is the day that my husband is getting up in front of our congregation to tell them where God is commissioning us to go to next. I was hoping that I would be able to be with him to support him, but my beautiful little girl was up all night with a bad cold and has to stay home.
It has been very difficult to keep this news to ourselves for so long. Now that I know it's alright to talk about I am excited to finally be able to share from my heart what God has been… Continue

We always say we want our worship to be modeled after Zion. That's why we, as Pentecostals, raise our hands to God, and dance and sing and use a lot of instruments. That's how they worshiped at Zion. King David understood the kind of worship God desired. It wasn't chaotic. They planned the celebration to be joyful and loud. It was out of love and reverence and obedience to God that they worshiped Him that way.
The Bible tells us that the musicians and singers in the church of Zion… Continue

I didn't write this. But I wish I had. One of my friends on another website posted this and I just want to share it you all here.
To every guy that's said, "Sex CAN wait"
To every guy that's said, "You're beautiful."
To every guy that was never too busy to drive across town to see her.
To every guy that gives her flowers and a card when she is sick or down.
To every guy who has given her flowers just because thats how he rolls.
To every guy that said he would… Continue

THE LEAVES OF FALL
Here in Maine, we are used to the seasons. We can rest assured, after a brilliant blaze of reds and orange, the leaves all fall to the ground around the middle of October. We expect it and it pleasantly surprises us
what God does with His beautiful paint brush.
If we have any age on us at all, we have seen loved ones and friends pass on to their reward. Even the Bible says the years of man be will be around 75 years. Since Adam and… Continue

I hadn't really been pondering the deep intellectual roots of why contemporary Christian worship has morphed into what it has ... I usually don't think on that level, simple gal that I am. But I caught a clip from Brian McLaren today that sort of described this growing nausea I've been contending with that we are turning worship into a manufacturing process. I kept soundly scolding myself when I'd start to question or wonder about the ways and whys of worship -- I was SURE it was a root of… Continue

King David has always been an inspiration to most musician,
but I think to often we (Christian musicians) are caught up in the "must be a positive message" thing, instead of honest raw heart cry music.
They called that music The Blues for years...LOL. Speaking of which I have heard that Christians should never be singing the blues.
First off let me say ALL music is first and foremost God's. The styles of music will come and go as far as being popular, and second I read this in a… Continue

O how sweet the glorious message simple faith may claim
Yesterday, today, forever Jesus is the same.
Still He loves to save the sinful, heal the sick and lame
Cheer the mourner, still the tempest, glory to His Name.
Yesterday, today, forever, Jesus is the same.
All may change, but Jesus never! Glory to His Name!
Glory to His Name! Glory to His Name!
All may change, but Jesus never! Glory to His Name!
