I am a busy homeschooling mom with 6 beautiful children and an amazing husband who loves the Lord. My husband is the "music director" at our church and I play bass and sing on his worship team. I LOVE music and dance and art and photography. I am an amature photographer in the little spare time that I have and I love being able to capture the beauty of God's creation around me. I grew up in the church and in my teens became a PK and MK all in one summer as my dad got his pastors license, and we then moved over seas to live in Russia for the next year and a half. My parents live there full time now bringing Jesus to the drug addicted. You can read all about how God is changing the lives of these young people on their blog. It's www.mikeandkaren.blogspot.com. I am thrilled to be serving along side my husband on the worship team at our church and am excited to see how it will grow and develop as our church grows and developes.
I will listen to just about anything and enjoy it.
Favorite Bible Verses / Passages:
ok, I totally stole this from another WTR member, but after reading it I was hooked, because I have kids who love to praise God with their voices and with dancing...
With praises from children and from tiny infants, you have built a fortress.
It makes your enemies silent, and all who turn against you are left speechless.
(Contemporary English Version)
My parents have a blog telling all about their life serving the drug addicts and homelss in Russia. You can see the worship of people truely set free in their lives. It's amazing and inspiring. Check it out at www.mikeandkaren.blogspot.com

A belated welcome to WTR, Erin. I found it interesting that your church service has a coffee break in the middle of it, right before the sermon. I'll have to run that by my pastor and see what he thinks!
Hope you're enjoying the great discussions here. God bless.
