I'm doing alright. A little exhausted and spent at the moment. IHOP is incredible my friend. It's a great ministry for people. You've been there yeah? You should try to make a trip sometime. It's an incredible experience. How are you? Thanks! Dane
Hi David. Thanks for the friend invite. You will love it here on this site. I have a friend that lives in the Quebec area, I will have to ask him again what the name of the town is where he lives. Take care J.
Hi David. I've just been to cdbaby and checked out the samples of your Terebinth tracks. VERY impressive. How often are the band out playing?
Great musicianship, but, as you said, God is more interested in our hearts than our playing abilities. Still, to have both . . .
I hadn't played for about 25 years. but stood in for a few months when our church was short of drummers. We now have a god drummer and a promising youngster learning the ropes, so I just fill in occasionally. I find more freedom in allowing the drummer to take the kit and I supplement with cymbals and assorted percussion as the Lord leads. These days I have a preference for the guitar. The dilemma came in prioritizing what little spare time I had: practise hard on the guitar; study Scripture or spend time in prayer. The latter two won, so the guitar is just a leisure activity.
How about you, do you play an instrument; did the Lord gift you with a good voice, or both?
Yes, I noticed it too. I think she'll be looking for someone younger -- I'm 62 next birthday :)
My wife and I have long had a hankering to visit Canada. Such a beautiful country and the Canadians we have met have always been great folk. Once had a lad from Moosejaw stay with us. What a fantastic name for a town!
