guitarist, singing harmony and lead, some keyboard chord
I love to sing and play worship music on guitar and write songs all the time that, I usually put away and forget about. The kids are grown and my husband and I both play and when we were off on weekends we served on the church worship team, but lately our schedules have made it difficult. He is a paramedic and I'm a nurse. Praying for our schedules to change in time so we can actively serve more that way again. Right now it's hard to do. Recently we've started attending a smaller church where we could do some good I believe , Lord willing. The pastor has asked about us helping w/ the music but we want to rehearse some w/ him (he plays piano) and see how things develop. I want the Lords favor and blessing to be with us or not do it at all.
Robin Mark, Paul Baloche, Matt Redman, Keith Green, Dennis Jernigan, John Waller Chris Tomlin, Darlene Zcheck...I have surely misspelled somewhere but anyhoo I could go on and I also love some of the old hymns too I grew up with.
Favorite Bible Verses / Passages:
My beloved spoke, and said to me: Rise up my love, my fair one, And come away. For lo, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth: For now is the time of the singing of birds, And the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. The fig tree puts forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grapes give a good smell. Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away! O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the cliff, Let me see your face, Let me hear your voice; For your voice is sweet, And your face is lovely.
