I'm guessing he has two capos. At the seventh fret, he's playing in D using G chords, and then he goes to the 2nd fret and plays in C. We had an ace rhythm guy come in and he played it Capo-2(C). I play it normal tuning and use the open D A and G strings when I can for the droning effect.

We've had a little trouble performing this when we switch to the longer chords in chorus, we finally gave up and play the 6|4 1|5 version of the chorus two or three times, and then end on a 4 chord with the nearly whisper of 'My Savior Loves My . . . . ."

What a fantastic song! Anyone know what the chords / chord shapes he is playing when he removes his capo half way through?
