Hi David - good to hear from you! No probs, I spotted that last night and banned the member as soon as I saw the spam attack! Happy Christmas to you and your family. Phil
Alrighty then!! There is no such thing as being too old to worship or we're in big trouble in eternity where we will never cease praising Him!!
I have 3 grown sons and 6 grandkids, the oldest almost 21 - sooooo I guess I'm definitely old & wrinkly lol
Hi everyone, so I'm wondering what is the benchmark for being "too old for the sell date?" I lead worship in our church and the worship pastor is 4 years older than I am & another one of our worship leaders is just outta high school. My drummer is just 17, so I think it's more a matter of the heart and ability and the Holy Spirit's enabling!!
Hello David....yes I thought we were pals too. Interested in your biking association I remember baptising several bikers in the river test just outside Whitchurch back in the early 80s......you weren't one of them where you? Good to have you as a friend...keep on whistling!
David, after learning that you play flutes and whistles I had to stop by. I liven in Albany, Georgia USA but moved here from Michigan about 4 years ago. Back in Michigan I played guitar, bodhran and dumbek with friends that played Irish music. We had a college prof who played penny whistle, wooden flute, bodhran and bones. Then we had a middle school band director that played penny whistle, parlour pipes and a low D whistle. Another friend played fiddle, citern, concertina and bodhran. MAN DO I MISS THOSE DAYS, REALLY WISH I COULD FIND MUSICIANS IN THIS AREA THAT COULD PLAY THAT STUFF!!!! Until then, my wife and I play in our praise team at church.
Awesome I wish the Street Pastors was around in my drinking and drug addict days . that is cool that they are expierencing the same thing we do every sat night . if we are faithful with the small ministries we will see a great harvest .
we must have faith because some times we do not see the results of the seeds we have sown. i have had my doubts . than a person came up to our ministry and said you do not relize how much you have effected my life. if it were not for you people and you telling me about jesus and praying for me and not judging me because i was drunk and high i really dont know were my life would have ended up at . i thank God for you and now i have a relationship
with my lord and saviour Jesus Christ and now i am doing things that i never thought i could or would do with my life and now i am telling others how the Lord RESCUED ME FROM CERTAIN DESTRUCTION that my friends is more precious than the finest Gold or Silver Nothing compares to the Greatness of knowing you Lord. That is the treasure Jesus talks about that is stored up in Heven it is not material possecions it is the souls that we win back from satan and bring into the Glorious light of Christ and the salvation that comes only through Him and Him alone GLORY TO GOD IN JESUS NAME AMEN

Thats really sorry to hear..May God give you peace, Yup as you said, age really doesn't matter. You can do in fifties what you can not do in twenties too. It depends on how much passion you have only and I feel that you can excel :) anyways its nice to see that you play guitar.I love guitar .So do you have any recordings or do you lead worship in any church?

Not that old yet, but for some reason I sort of emote with a lot of what was said in the threads. Maybe I just age quickly. =)
Take care. Lorraine
The way I solved alot of that was to learn Chinese. lol
