Hello Jungie, Thank you for the welcome i sent you a message from my gmail i hope you get it how are you doing Blessed by the Best right ha lol thats what i always say .thanks again mabey you can add me on your facebook page if you have one .. God Bless Susan Harms ...
Thanks. I found you all quite by accident, but I'm very excited by what I have already gotten from this discussions. I have been doing some planning for new music we are adding to our repetoire in the future, and the suggestions have really helped that process. I look forward to much more interaction.
Just wondering... Our team is trying to make some changes with our practice times. We usually have a Thursday 7pm practice and a quck run thru on Sunday morning before our 1st service at 9am. We are thinking of trying a full practice earlier Sun morning, canceling Thursday & holding Saturday practices every other month to learn the new songs we want to add to our set list. I tallied our songs from CCLI from last year which totaled 85 so I don't think we will be at a lack of choices. Any other sugestion from other teams on how you plan your practices?
Nice to hear back from you, Junjie...!!! What a pleasant surprise! Well, forgive my rant...but sometimes we have to take off the "musician's hat" and put on the "pastoral" one!!! Anyway, the constructive good I have discovered on this website is wonderful. What a great resource for both the novice, the seasoned, and those just interested. It's exciting to become a part of your growing community! Blessings...
I have sat back at a "distance" while evaluating the worship the Rock website, and am happy to say I greatly appreciate what I have learned so far! Thanks to your whole team for what it takes to maintain this platform that allows for such diverse expressions of ministry! My only comment (and I would hope it's constructive and received by all in love!) is that I'm a little surprised by the language I've seen in a couple of posts. I thinks expressions like " we're screwed when that happens" or, that piece of gear is "crap" could be reserved for more appropriate applications that in a Worship Leader's discussion. Anyway... that's my two cents, as a pastort of over 35 years...for whatever that's worth. Not intended to cause grief...merely reflection! Blessings in Christ...
Hi, Dave! Welcome to Worship the Rock! Glad to see you getting involved with the bass discussions here. And do check out the songs the others have uploaded, lots of great stuff! :)
Thanks for the warm welcome, Junjie!
Yep, I've been reading the forums and watching the videos. THanks for posting those videos about auditioning drummers and pianists.
It is also great to read the forums and realize that I am not alone in the hassles I go through in worship teams, and it's comforting to know that others go through the same struggles, and may even have some solutions.
Thanks. I think that will have to wait. Will not go to Singapore in any of this time. We'll see in the future. But next month I'm going to Penang for a week.
hello junjie! SORRY FOR TAKING SO LONG IN ANSWERING YOU. I HAVE BEEN A LOT BUSSY THIS MONTH DUE TO THE LENT SEASON. KEEP IN TOUCH, I'LL GET BACK, SOON.

I like the way u say you like to teach faster than you learn, giving shortcuts. I do that too. My students often learn very fast from me.
