Thanks Rick! I'm super excited about this site. Living in China makes it hard to keep current with worship. And since I've only been leading worship for about a year, I'm hoping to glean everything I can from all you experienced ones. :)

Just wanted to stop by and say hi, thank you for all your hard work for the Lord, our risen King. Keep good faith towards him and keep working in your community of believers.
Keep turning people to God and his Divine Son, Yeshua.
Write me sometime and don't be shy!
Courage is rightly esteemed the first of human qualities... because it is the quality which guarantees all others.
Thanks for your welcome and blessings. I've only been a Worshp Leader for a couple years now, but this calling has taken me in directions I never dreamed of in my 50 years of life. I'm a classically trrained singer with a degree, but this is something very special and blessed. God is Glorious!
Thanks for the wonderful welcome Rick! I will be joining a group soon and getting plugged in..just need my work schedule to cooperate..lol :) A pipe dream, I know..
TX can be a hotbed for worship conferences...they seem to pop up frequently in the summer (the most miserable/hottest time of the year..) I've been very fortunate to attend the IWI conference in Dallas two years ago and in Carrollton, TX last year. I got the opportunity to attend the C3 conference in Feb. of this year in Grapevine, TX. All of them were wonderful and I learned SO MUCH about worship in the workshops. It really helps to get refreshed, recharged and to connect with others struggling with some of the same things/issues. I would like to think TX is the buckle of the bible belt..!! lol
Canada is huge, eh? lol Just kiddin'. :) I've been to Victoria. BEAUTIFUL. Visited an aquarium that was humongous..don't remember the name, but it was really cool! What conferences are there 'up' your way?
Hi and hello to you!! And thank you for the welcome!! We ( husband & a couple that we have gone into ministry with) were just in Penticton a couple weeks ago to participate in a Max Solbrekken outreach there. It was there that I met someone who had just moved there from South Africa. Luis & his wife Monica, have such a heart for the Lord and it is by His leading that they moved all the way to Canada. We are planning to record together (he is a drummer) and the spontaneous worship we entered into was amazing. I totally loved the songs you have posted and was so easy to just worship and sing along - instantly. I only play piano, so with the help of GarageBand, the song I posted, is all just me and please don't laugh at my attempt to play bass on the keyboard lol. I truly desire to record songs to be a blessing and to further His Kingdom only. Too many have fame and fortune at the end of their tunnels and I will not touch that motivation.
I don't quite understand why the Holy Spirit keeps pouring out songs - but have used a great many in worship and the church ends up on their faces on the floor and the Lord does incredible works in their hearts. I know it is NOT me, cause my ears work well enough to recognize that I'm not the "greatest" vocalist or musician - and I am ALWAYS amazed what the Lord will do through an obedient and willing vessel.
Oops, this was just to be a short thank you note --- so thanks for the welcome. Some day, I would love to worship with you. Lin
Hallelujah! Hei Rick, am so glad to have you welcomed me in the worship the rock net work, well I didn't expect some one to note me. May The ALMIGHTY do you good and bless you for a warm heart you have, In THE NAME THAT IS ABOVE ALL OTHER NAMES JESUS CHRIST, AMEN
Thank You Rick!! This site is proving to be so much more helpful than I imagined. It's great to be able to get feed back from other worship leaders so quickly!! You can feel a little alone at times. This really helps!
