It’s feels so good to know that Gods love is everlasting. No thing or person could ever separate us from His love. When you really think about it, God didn’t have to send His son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. It wasn’t something He was obligated to do. He did it out of love. He is so passionate for us, its unexplainable. For those of you who don’t know, I am the youngest of four. I have one brother, who is the oldest of the clan, and two sisters. I know, for a fact, that my dad would never give up my brother for anyone! Never! Yes, my dad is sweet and probably the biggest teddy bear you’ll ever meet, but he ain’t that nice to let go of his son. Why? Because its his one and only son… My dad would never give him up for the world. Especially not for the sins of 7 billion people! Now, I’m not saying that my dad isn’t nice. What I’m trying to say is that we’re human. Our love towards someone will never compare to Gods love towards us. He could’ve said, “Screw you, you’re on your own.. I’m not giving up my one and only perfect son to die for you!” I know that sounds mean but its true, He could’ve. But He didn’t. That’s something we should be thankful for. I feel loved when someone gives up their chair for me to sit on lol, you think I’m gonna feel extremely loved to know that Jesus died for me?! Uhm, heck yeah! The Bible says that God didn’t send His son to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. God gave us a chose to have everlasting life; He made a way when there was no way. And that only way is Jesus. He longs for us and longs to be with us. A friend of mine once quoted the movie Elf (for any of you who have watched it), when Buddy ran into his dads office, one night after a date with a girl, and he yells with excitement, “I’m in love, I’m in love, and I don’t care who knows its!” That part of the movie sort of made my friend imagine how maybe thats how Jesus feels when we spend time with Him haha! She imagined Jesus running in heaven to Gods throne and saying, “I’m in love, I’m in love, and I don’t care who knows it!” To know that He loves us is great, but to feel his love is extraordinary! And to top it all off with whip cream, sprinkles, and a cherry on top; the Bible says that, “nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:39) Just wanted to let you know that His unfailing love towards you is higher than the stars and deeper than the seas… and that there is nothing you can do that will stop Him from loving you!
