Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Galatians 6:7 (NKJV)
We take so many things for granted. I believe one of those things is time. Time belongs to God and He give us only so many hours in a day, and so many years to our lives. Sometimes we live like we will live forever; and we will in eternity, but not in the human dimension. In the human realm there is a day that awaits all of us when we must stand before a Holy God and answer for how we lived on earth. God had to break me from complaining; perhaps some of you can relate. I complained that things were not as I wanted them to be, or because MY plans had not come to fruition. What God showed me was that my complaining really meant that I was ungrateful. I was wasting time being ungrateful when I should have been thanking God that all is well. I should have been thanking Him because He was preparing me for something so wonderful I could never have devised it on my own. When God reveals Himself it calls for change on our part - or it should. When God revealed Himself to the prophet Isaiah it drove him to worship and repentance. It drove me to humble myself and to repent. Which side of the pendulum do you fall on? Are you complaining or being grateful? If you're complaining, stop wasting time!
