Good friends, good advice
Psa 37:30 The godly offer good counsel; they know what is right from wrong.
Psa 37:31 They fill their hearts with God's law, so they will never slip from his path.
Sometimes we like to hear good advice and sometimes we don't like to hear advice even when it is good. However, the Bible encourages us to surround ourselves with "Godly Counsel".
I really thank God for those friends who take their time and really give good counsel. You know the kind of friends who are not afraid to tell you the truth and yet can do so with compassion. No matter what you are going through, you can trust them to be honest with you, pray with you, mentor you.
We all need a helping hand at one time or another. Good friends are a blessing. Thank you to all my good friends and your wise Godly counsel.
May we all be able to share Godly counsel when the chance arises.
