Unlocking your Iphone?
Has anyone heard of <a href="http://iphoneunlockr.com">jailbreak iphone</a>? It looks like a pretty sweet way to unlock your iphone for free.

I haven't used that. Actually I have a HERO but have found once you root (jailbreak) your phone... there's so much you can do with it that you simply cannot do without full access.
Not to mention according to a court ruling last Tuesday (or was it the week previous)... It is now fully legal to unlock your phone.
I'll ask a few of my iPhone friends and ask what they use.

Great. Thanks. My daughter unlocked hers easily on a free web site but I'm afraid of voiding the warrantee if I should cause it to "brick" or freeze where I couldn't get control to reset it.

I don't know how it works with iPhone, but before you do it, might look for a "factory reset" file for your iPhone.
In the Hero we have a RUU_signed_release.exe. Basically what it does is allow you to revert to factory default settings. So if you ever need to send it in for repair you arent' voiding your warranty.
