What do you do when you find that one of the members of the Worship team has been participating in immoral acts???

tough question Angela.... Well, back in the days of the tabernacle the levites had to make sure that their lives were clean and on the up and up before God. They had to go thru a process of cleanliness before offering sacrifices or doing anything.... or there would be horrific consequences... That's what we are "levites"... our lives have to be right before God at all times... some people seem to forget that the altar where we lead worship from is the "holy of holies" and our "levites", those who have been chosen to do this work in the house of God must live by certain standards because they have been seperated for this purpose. ... If someone in my worship team was practicing immoral acts and I knew for a fact that it was true then I would go directly to my pastor with the situation . I would have the member pulled from the team until he or she got himself right with the Lord again and leave the disciplinary stuff to the Pastor...... If one of the members is living in sin "secretly" your whole team may be in trouble because the blessing of God will not flow.. I have seen this happen many times...... Our jobs is to take the congregation to the presence of the Lord and all of our lives need to be clean before Him.. If you are the one that is aware of the situation take it to your Pastor . It will be of a blessing to the team to have that one person pulled ( with love ) so you can continue to worship in spirit and in truth. Anything different is displeasing to God... Wish you well.....
