WHAT IS WORSHIP? Does God occupies the “throne” of your heart so that you can worship HIM with ALL of who you are (spirit, soul and body)?
I will start saying that it is really hard to explain in simple words what worship is, since it starts in our hearts and only God knows our inner motivation. It is not about music or having a lovely voice. How is God seeing our worship? Are we a “living sacrifice” to HIM?

We have been in our church for just over a year. We are working hard with an older congregation to help them see the benefits of modern worship for this generation. God sent a young man our way to lead worship. He is fantastic.

Here is something I observed at our church's missionary/pastors retreat this week:
God: LOVES people. Satan: HATES people.
At the retreat I met a lady who lives in the Ukraine, is a single mom, stands at the door of abortion clinics as numerous young women are lined up to go in. Quite an interesting topic this issue of stage freight…
I don’t know any worship leader who doesn’t have it or at least struggled with it at some point and yet, there really doesn’t seem to be a concrete 12 step program for over coming it. When freedom is legislated, history shows it has the opposite effect - you become free to NOT speak about your beliefs, because we're all free to not have to hear it. We see what happens in countries where there is no true freedom. I don't want to see Australia, or Britain or the US, continue heading down the path we are currently. How do we fight for freedom to be able to spread the Kingdom of God with grace, love, mercy?…

Lately, something has been bothering me, and I thought I'd get it off my chest, and put it down on paper. I've been doing some soul searching about the local church. Obviously the newest fade is the "emerging" church, but I am not a fan of that movement. We have just started doing a new thing at our church. Once a month worship discipleship meetings. Last night, the team members who were able to attend the National Worship Leaders Conference in KS this year each spoke about what they learned at the conference.
