This issue IMHO is what created the Chorus Books of the mid to late sixties and made the singing of choruses so popular with many church congregations. People need to to be able to "hear" (volumn and clarity) the words to new songs first and it help…
Yep! Great advice- and then when those 20 songs become your solid "base" add 10 more that you throw in there with the 20 and sing them until they know them. then just keep adding.
Look for songs that are well-known but aren't necessarily "overplaye…
Here's what you need:
Don't do too many songs. I don't mean to do only one or two songs per service, but have a list of ten songs or so. That way people get familar with the songs, you can introduce one per two week or so. Have a blessed day :)

3. Is it singable?
I've spoken up around here before about the ran…
Great answers! This is my favorite topic, but I've really got nothing more to add. (If you check my posts here, this almost NEVER happens!)
Do a search on our song discussions on this forum also. You'll find a lot of recommendations from people who…
