Obviously the newest fade is the "emerging" church, but I am not a fan of that movement. Rachel Ward said… - Wayne, thank you very much for your post on my discussion. Actually, it was pretty convicting for myself, as well. I realize that I have not been taking the worship ministry as seriously as I ought.
Also, I think your post is a confirmation of sorts. I have wanted to put together a youth worship team with my youth group; so many of them are very talented and very passionate about worship. A few years ago, we did a Youth Worship Night where the youth lead worship and one of the guys gave a small sermon. We have always wanted to do that again.
Thanks again, very much, for your input. Please pray for me! I really don't want to leave. I want to be an instrument of change, like you said. It looks a little hopeless right now. God's specialty, right?
