Trevor Binkley replied to Richard Jensen's discussion 'Rock of ages' in the group Songwriter's Circle - Get Song Feedback
"I love this old hymn! That is a nice laid back arrangement. I rewrote some of the lyrics, added a chorus, and rocked it up. Here is the version I recorded for my last CD. I don't have the Chord chart here on this computer, but let me know if…"

"Anytime. I was at a worship leaders conference last year and Brenton Brown was there. He has wrote or co-wrote. Everlasting God, Hosanna, Our God Saves, Glorious, All Who Are Thirsty, Humble King etc. He is an incredible song writer, a gifted…"

Trevor Binkley replied to Lisa Deaton's discussion 'Anyway.....new song' in the group Songwriter's Circle - Get Song Feedback
"Hi Lisa, I think you are on the right track. The MP3 file didn't play until 2 minutes or so in by the way, but I did get to hear what you did to the chorus. I think that key works better for your voice too. I was thinking more about building…"

Lisa Deaton replied to Trevor Binkley's discussion 'We Put our Trust in You' in the group Songwriter's Circle - Get Song Feedback
"I like the way it sounds!! I don't think it really needs a bridge.....I think the chorus pretty much says it all. Sounds good for a rough first take....I can see people rockin out to this one!"

Trevor Binkley replied to Doug Lane's discussion 'Worthy is the Lamb' in the group Songwriter's Circle - Get Song Feedback
"Hi Doug, Love the chorus, and I wouldn't change a thing about it. The 2nd verse I agree with Charles and I would change the line that says "won't do it again." The third line you might say something like We're forgiven,…"

Trevor Binkley replied to Anna Marie's discussion 'We Sing (we love you Yahweh)' in the group Songwriter's Circle - Get Song Feedback
"I like this song. I can hear it going one of two ways 1) give it a driving Hillsong type beat and give it a really huge sound, or 2) like Lewis said keep it simple with guitar and piano. One thing about the effects is that it made me thing that…"

Trevor Binkley replied to Trevor Binkley's discussion 'To You My King' in the group Songwriter's Circle - Get Song Feedback
"Thanks Bizzy. Actually I am planning on re-recording that song and changing it, but in the future I will put newer songs that I haven't been in the studio with. God Bless,"

Trevor Binkley replied to Lisa Deaton's discussion 'Anyway.....new song' in the group Songwriter's Circle - Get Song Feedback
"Hi Lisa, I like the lyrics and theme of the song. During the Chorus it seems like you start to mix it up a bit when you sing ... that I create. Personally I would change the melody there to build the end of the Chorus so that right before you get…"

Trevor Binkley replied to Keith Amano's discussion 'Perfect Love' in the group Songwriter's Circle - Get Song Feedback
"Hi Keith, I like how you weaved the theme of God's perfect love in with calling Him Love. The song does seem a little sleepy, you might try mixing it up a little bit, change some chords or the progression. God Bless, Trevor"

About Me:
I have been leading worship in some form at CCSE for the past 6 years. For the past 3 years I have been on staff as the youth pastor and worship director.

I love leading people to worship our Lord. I believe that much more than leading songs we should be reminding people that it is only by His mercy, and by His sacrifice on the cross that enables us to come before Him and worship.

Worship is our great privilege, and we need to be constantly reminded of that.

Hi Trevor, it looks like some nice countryside behind you in your profile picture, a little different to the lowlands of Essex in the UK.

Thanks for the friend request. Your McPherson is a beautiful instrument. The Redwood tops are great. My McPherson is a 5.0XP with a Port Orford top (it's actually a type of Cypress) and Flamed Black Acacia back and sides. To refer to it as my dream guitar is an understatement. My wife and I are goingto have the opportunity to tour their showroom and production area the latter part of next week. We are going to be in Madison, Wisconsin for the Transplant Games as Tennessee Donor Services Donor Family representatives and we thought we would never be that close to the McPherson showroom and production area again so, we scheduled the tour. McPherson guitars great instruments for leading worship. I look forward to your posts.
