Profile Information

Home Church:
Eagle Brook Church
Musical Gift(s):
Songwriting, keyboards, vocals, and drums.
About Me:
I love Jesus and love to write songs about following Christ. My Dad taught me to play Norwegian folk-songs on the piano when I was a kid, and now it is a dream of mine to play in a worship band. I was born in a Navy hospital when my Dad was stationed in Jacksonville, Florida, but grew up in Albert Lea, Minnesota. I ended up joining the Navy myself after high school and played in a variety of shipboard bands during a 21-year naval career. Along the way, God tugged on my heart and drew me in...and my music followed. By God's grace, I recently completed a Christian Ministry degree at Regent University. Now, with the gifts God has given me, I seek to "sing to the Lord a New Song" (Psalm 96:1). Blessings to each of you as God leads you!
Favorite Music:
Contemporary Worship Music and songs about living a Christ-centered lifestyle are my favorite.
Favorite Bible Verses / Passages:
"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29:13 NIV).
"Come near to God and he will come near to you" (James 4:8 NIV).
"One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple" (Psalm 27:4 NIV).
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV).
