- I find secular music shallow and lacking Thank you Mr. Brower. I've been saved almost 30 years and have never had to lean on secular music for any inspiration to write music. Although my music may have some similar sounds to secular in someone's opinion (because somewhere along the way, we all sound like someone) I've always been inspired to write while listening to other Christian artists, not secular. blessings, elman
