Hi Paul,

Good to hear from you.  Yep, there are still a few of the old UK faces who are here reguarly and some that pop up now and again.  I wasn't active on the site for a couple of years, I guess I thought people were sick of hearing my comments and I missed the old faces, but here I am, back in full swing, a bit older but not necessarily wiser :)  Hope you come back as a regular.

God Bless.  Lorraine

We are running the clinics on Saturday 23rd October at a studio in East London and would love to se you there! Howard Francis is a professional keyboard player and has toured with Mica Paris, Westlife, Will Young, Blue.... and he is also a songwriter and has written many songs for London Community Gospel Choir, Bishop John Franics & Ruach Choir and his songwriting partner, P&W leader Mark Beswick. For the first time Howard has created this keyboard clinic just for keyboard players who play in worship bands to help build confidence, give tips and ideas and help you personally! Please go to Howard's website for tickets and more info www.howardfrancis.co.uk/training - there is limited space so sign up qucikly! Details are:

Saturday 23rd October
Starts: 5pm
Duration: 1.5hrs
Venue: Brookdale House Studios, 75 Brookdale Road, London, E17 6QH

Howard Francis has designed this workshop clinic to focus entirely on playing keyboards in your worship band. A great opportunity to learn more about:

- Looking at modern praise & worship songs and finding a fresh way of playing them
- Reharmonising songs without interfering with melody
- Setting an atmosphere discreetly under a speaker
- Knowing the moments to use the keyboard to add weight to the final word from speaker especially for response times, prayer etc.
- The use of strings and what moments in a song to use them.
- Q&A opportunities to get Howard's advice and tips

Hi Paul,

Welcome to WTR's "Old and Wrinkly!", I hope it becomes as good as the one you ran on HMI.

HI Paul, Yes that spot is just over an hour from my house. In these parts it is a fairly famous hiking and recreation spot called the Columbia River Gorge. That hike climbed nearly 5000' in about 5.5 miles. It was one of the most challenging hikes I've ever done, but the view was worth it.

Great to meet you here in Cyberspace. Blessings!

Trevor
