- 36yo married father of 3, have been writing and recording my own music since the mid '80s. Currently building a more complete Project Studio for my own projects, as beginning to Produce for other artists. This may develop into a humble "Indie" label, of sorts. Also just recently received approval to start a new Alternative Worship Team to introduce a new Alternative Worship Service at my church! This will be a whole new thing for me, I'm excited and nervous all at the same time!!
Enjoy not only music, but also cars, autocross competition and road racing, graphic design, web development, photography, videography, target shooting and really too much more to list.

SERENITY SOUNDLAB, SERENITY PRODUCTIONS and SERENITY RECORDS!
These developments are all part of Michael’s new “SERENITY MUSIC MINISTRIES”, offering Indie-level recording, production, duplication/manufacture and marketing and distribution for Independent Alternative Christian musicians.
Services include; digital recording and editing of audio and video, professional musical accompaniment and original soundtrack composition, original lyrics and arrangements, graphic design, photography, photo editing, photo/slide/video digitizing, professional CD duplication and manufacturing as well as physical and electronic marketing and distribution.
These services are available as a low-cost, one-stop solution to Central Illinois Christian artists who feel a calling to music Ministry but have limited funding with which to fulfill it.

As many of you know, I'm finally stepping out an putting together my own team. Of course, I had to reinvent the whole thing as I always do, so we're introducing a whole new Alternative Worship Service at our church, the first service has been confirmed forMay 29, 2009.

Every now and again, we have the opportunity to step out of our comfort zone and do something really useful. Maybe it’s something at church; helping out in the nursery or food pantry, playing or singing on a worship team, ministering to someone who today just really needs to hear how much God loves them. Maybe it’s something in our every day lives; helping rake leaves or mow the yard of an elderly widow, offering our personal gifts for free to someo… Continue

So you want to make a CD?
We're all here because we enjoy music with a message, and many of us are here because we feel something of a calling on our lives in this respect. Whether it is it lead a simple acoustic worship set with a small group once a week, to lead congregational worship on Sunday mornings, or to become the next Chris Tomlin, these callings are no more or less important than one another. Winds of Change
The weather last few days here in Central Illinois have been much like the economic and political climate last several months throughout the world. Sunday in particular was one of the more interesting weather days here in several years. All night it had been raining with occasional thunderstorms, and Sunday morning was much the same. Looking for a few good...Musicians?
Hey all!
Recently it was heavily laid on my heart to begin an Alternative Worship Service, run by a new Alternative Worship Team. Now, my church has always tried to be in tune with the leading edge of what Spirit is doing "now", so the Service was an easy sell...But also being a smallish church with a real strain on the small Worship Community, finding "band members" was going to be a real challenge.
Working up song lists, I'm finding useful music by all sorts of bands not generally used in ch… Continue
