I give all God the glory and keep none for myself, I admit that I have no goodness apart from God and everything that has taken place in my life over the past few months has just made my love for Him grow and stronger and increased my faith :) I am…

I had a great fulltone Gt500. Clean boost and great distortion. You can combine them much like a jeckyl and hyde. The fulltone is really fat if you dial it up right.

I just got a new one that my friend calls the "secret weapon." It's the Line6 Verbzilla Reverb pedal (sa-weet) great reverb settings, plus it can be set to 100% wet or dry. The coolest feature is the octo setting which is other-worldly. Check it out.

About Me:
Hi, my name is Max Johnson, I am 18 going on 19. I've been in the business of leading worship for about three years. Since before I can remember I have always had a burning desire to really persue Gods calling on my life, I knew God had gifted me with a singing voice and a natural ear for music, but I had other goals in life. One day the worship leader (who is now my brother in law) of my youth group named Joshua Ortego gave me a chance to come sing and play with him on a wednesday night service. Thats when it all started. I suddenly was launched into the worship ministry! Eventually Josh stepped down as youth worship leader and handed the torch down to me. I began leading every wednesday night in youth. I have always been more of the sensitve type, especially to things of God. But for the first month I lead, every single time I got up to lead I just began to weep, the Lord was drawing me deeper into his heart with overwhelming love for me. Worship was my way of expressing my Love for him. I've come a long way since then. Im now one of the main worship leaders for my church, and im still the youth worship leader. Worship leading and being involved in the ministry was not always an easy thing. My style was different. Im what some people mite call, an inner court worshipper. I love deep worship. Now that doesnt mean I dont like praise! I love that. I just have this passion for mixing intercession with worship, its how it was meant to be, every service I lead feels more like a prayer meeting then just a worship service. Some people do not really like my "style" they complain that im to spontanious and I stay on songs to long. haha
But you also have the ones that enter in to worship right with me. Ive discovered that worship is not about the song, or who is singing it, or whether you even like the song. Its about expressing our Love to the one who created us! The one who gave us life, the one who redeemed us! Worship is not about how you or I feel! If you dont feel like worshipping, worship anyways! Its about him receiving all the honor and all the Glory, whether we feel like it or not, he is so worthy. My heart is to see people, young and old alike, truly worship God in spirit and in truth.
I plan on attending a music school at FMA (Forerunner Music Academy) it is a christian bible college based out of the organization called "IHOP". No not pancakes haha it is the international house of prayer. I am currently working at a christian owned guitar store called "The Perfect Bass/ The Perfect Guitar". We have a huge selection, and all worship players and leaders get discounts. Please contact me at the store if you have any questions related to products!

Well that is all that I can think to write about me at the moment =P
Thankyou for reading this! God bless you =)
Favourite Music:
Even though my music style and preference tends to be more along the lines of Jason Upton, Misty Edwards, Matt Gilman. My insperation and one of the first people I want to meet when I go home to see Jesus, is Keith Green. Even though some would consider his music "Cheezy" from a modern perspective. But his passion, and convicting lyrics inspire me. After reading his book "No compramise" I gained a huge ammount of respect for him. His life style and attitude reflect that of Paul. A man that said what the Lord wanted him to say and did not hold back, who didn't give into the rock star ego of a modern worship leader. My other favorite is Jason Upton, he has a very prophetic spirit and it shows in his music. Misty Edwards, because she just rocks my socks off with her strong vocals and when you think it cant build anymore. It does. She is super annointed and I have a deep respect for her ministry. A few other names would be: Matt Gilman, Cory Asbury, Jonathan David Helser, Merchant Band, Justin Rizzo, Leeland, Hillsong United.
Favourite Books / Authors
First of all The Bible, To have a real relationship with God we must "Eat the Scroll" study his word. It is life, without our relationship with God will be so dry.
Piercing the Darkness and This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti. Fall of Lucifer and The First Judgment by Wendy Alec. The Bronze Bow, The Hittite Warrior, No Compromise"
Favourite Bible Verses / Passages:
Psalm 27: 4
One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD And to meditate in His temple

Hey, if you're looking for a replacement for a DL4, I have been very pleased with my T.C. Electronic Nova Delay. I researched the DL4, the Nova Delay, the Akai Headrush, a couple of Eventide models, and some boutique analog delays when I was shopping around for a delay last year. I found that the Nova Delay was very performance-oriented, and it's pretty dang easy to get dual-delay lines going (a-la U2-ish sounds). Worth playing with gear like yours to see if you like it... : )
