Snare tuning is good, but I tried putting a piece of foam rubber under the snare stand. Make sure it is fairly stiff, and big enough so that the snare does not fall over. Vibration to the stage goes up to the snare even if it is tuned properly, I know I had the same problem. Setting a piece of foam rubber or something similar will stop the vibration before it gets to the snare. Let me know if this works for you. Joe.

Kevin, It was very cool to read about your ministry of writing worship music for your church. I've also been trying to do the same. (I've been too long out of the song writers saddle.) God bless you in all of your creativity! Nick

The reason for my interest is I played oboe in concert band. Switched from the snooty clarinet section and found a better fit behind 2 reeds instead of 1. Oh, and I played a mean bari sax in pep band. Woo hoo! Every worship team needs a bari sax player. lol
