I don't know if anybody will read this, but felt pressed to post this on here...especially since I feel WTR is a safe place for me to do so. Before putting what I need to put on here, I must give some back ground information to anybody that stumbles upon this and doesn't know me.

First, I used to be a worship leader and active participant in the worship ministry. I stepped out of that about a year and a half ago due to some emotional blows from our church. Second, my husband, who was… Continue

Kara, wow. I will be praying for you. There are a some people that I know who have also lost their jobs due to the rough economy. I know that there are some trucking jobs here, and I believe it pays well. If there's anything else I hear of, I'll be sure and mention it to you.
Your sister in Christ,
Priscilla

Well, moving from DFW to Waco was a bit of a culture shock. (!)
But, we're getting used to it. God has provided us with some wonderful people - we've begun to connect with other worship leaders here - something that (from what I hear) doesn't happen very often.
Do you know what part of Texas you might move to??

Kara,
I am embarrassed to say , I missed some of your wall comments since I don't come on here very often. I mostly do e-mails and facebook. If you want to run your other song by me, I'd love to review it for you . I can give certain types of feedback better now as I have learned stuff. Christian Songwriter's network is set up in such a way that once you give a certain number of critiques to others, you can then receive critiques ..free... but it feels risky to me to just put it out there. I like the professional one like you got because it covers the issues I need the critique for.
I pray your hubby finds a much better job , or maybe that God will bring one to him...sometimes that happens too !!!
Love,
Diana

Kara,
Now that I have the critique , can I see a printed copy of the song you submitted? Its a very helpful review. Thanks, I can learn a lot from it.
