Just came back from University Classes, so tired. I just thank God that i have a family to come home to which provides a nice environment for me to grow spiritually. Recently,i had been reminiscing about my Student Exchange trip in Japan. So many memories, if i was given a second chance, i would have loved to go back and try to have a more fruitful time over there.… Continue

Joy .. saw your question on the "She Sings" group re: writing contemporary christian music that isn't necessarily 'worship' music. I pray that you'll be bold and free to write and sing in whatever direction God leads you. . . anything that glorifies God (and not self, or just for the sake of self-expression) is a sweet blessing to the Lord and his people. It doesn't have to fit a formula or any particular context. I think for me some of my songwriting is purely intimate worship with no particular placement in mind. Sometimes it's just the Lord's way of helping me work through something. Sometimes it's just pure joy... The important part is to be sure I'm writing from a pure heart...if that makes any sense... Anyway .. glad you joined She Sings! Blessings, Brannon

that's the confusing part about nihongo, the same kanji gets read different ways depending on the situation. the character for water, for example, can be read as 'sui' or 'mizu', depending on various rules (which I haven't learned yet)

I downloaded the Book of Psalms in japanese, and started digging SLOWLY throuh it with a Jap-Eng dictionary and a kanji reference book. (My jap teacher left me in the lurch... *SOB*!!)
