Jamie, I hope that you are doing well. My parents were not able to get to your church. They had some credit card problems and that slowed them down. They did have a wonderful time in Spain though. They said it was beautiful and they got a few laughs at navigating streets and finding hotels. Again, I am praying for you...with love...

I am sorry for the turmoil and sadness that has been going on in your life. Did your mother-in-law pass away? My clan is doing well. We added a new member to our family...a dog! Like seven kids wasn't enough chaos, but he is a joy to us all. My parents are in Romania and visiting some really poor villages that are so thrilled to receive gifts from "Christian Americans". I think this blesses my parents more though...May God bless you today!

My dad said that he thinks they will be in Granada on the 19th of April. They will be in Sevilla just prior to that and had wanted to head that way. He thinks that would be great to go to your church and wants to know if you have service in English or Spanish?

Oh, I am not the brightest! I see now that you said you are the oldest the first time! My kids are somewhat close in age too. My oldest is 14, my youngest is 2. The church is only about 60-70 people and mostly older. It is not what I am used to. Previously I've been apart of genX/post modern churches. But I am drawn to this church. They have a heart for God that I have never seen before. They truly want to do God's will. I am learning that it isn't about the latest, greatest thing, but about the heart.
I am apprehensive to step into worship again. I do need to focus a lot of my time on the kids. I haven't figured out how to balance my love of music and being a mom. Sometimes it seems like all or nothing. I know that God has given me a gift, but I don't know how to use it for His glory. I have seen too many moms pursue their careers only to lose their kids. I will not be one of those moms. My season will come.

I will ask them, I think that they would like to attend a Baptist church there if they could. They currently attend a Baptist church here. I don't know where all they are going. They talked about renting a car and driving to older, historic communities. They love all things old!
