Do We Sing What We Mean?

We park our blue Reliant K under the guidance of a blue-uniformed attendant who makes sure we are square in the middle of our smallish space. Pausing to let the engine diesel to a halt, he hands me a stub informing us we are in Orange Area 3-C. It’s Sunday morning, and we’re “ just visiting” a church of a thousand, Extended…

Thanks for the kind comment, Greg. Yes, you're right, all the voices and guitar are me on that song. (That's why some of the vocal harmonies are a bit suspect! It's not one of my strong points) That version's in E which turned out to be very high, and we've now dropped it to A. It grew out of a 4/4 riff that I used to play on the guitar (E5. Emaj7, Aadd9/E, Aadd9/B), which then somehow entered 6/8 along the way! It's an unusual song and I never quite knew how it would turn out for congregational singing, but it seems to go quite well as a praise song in Church.

Thanks again for the encouragement. :-D
