Michael, we have a PA (Engineers corner) on WTR if you ask this question in there I am sure you will get an answer we have over 100 members with some people who are really good with all things PA and mixers etc.
we are volunteers at my fellowship but thankfully the church has invested in training and support and when they built our auditorium/main hall (3and a bit years ago) they took alot of the worship groups need (ok not all as it's a multi purpose hall…
oh yes troy always be nice to your drummer :)
God is the centre of ALL we do and should alway be the centre of our worship, and is important to pray before and after any session (as far as I am concerned ;) ) Welcome to the engineer's corner Troy

what we do for drums is of course the drummer needs to hear in the monitor mix (we use IEMs - In Ear Monitors) but for small venues I would not put them through the main front of house mix. anyone else got ideas for this?

Been a Christian since 1984, married in 1987, devorced in 2004. after a few years of being VERY down I am now happy with God in the centre and with Andrea for 3 years now. Happy to be serving God in all I do.
I am the Co-lead PA engineer at my Church Community Church Hull, in the UK. My other gifts in music is singing (I sing at church in the band twice a quater) and I have also played the Drums in Worship in the past as well as a little guitar (many many years ago). I have been a youth leader and have led services in the past.
My favorite past times are computer building and anything to do with I.T. (I do I.T. self employed now I enjoy it that much, including website design and custom PC building. ask me for info if your really interested.).
At church I also train people to use Easyworship (software to use in
services to project words, scripture, images and movies etc) as well as part of the team who runs the church website.
Favourite Music:
I like all contemporary Christian Music (as long as it is done well) I especially like Noel Richards, Tim Hughes, and Matt Redman as well as Casting Crowns and Delirious? I also like 80's pop like Howard Jones, Paul Young Eurithmics and Rock music like Bon-Jovi and Queen.
Please note on the play list it is not me singing it is one of my new friends on WTR Brian Cooney.
Favourite Books / Authors
I like a good sci-fi book and Conan-Doyle's Sherlock Holmes books and Christie's Poirot. Just read the Richard Hammond book (Autobiography about his very public jet car crash on Top Gear (BBC UK) and his recovery from the accident). and also read Angels and Demons very controversal. and very shortly going to read the Shack if I can get a copy to lend of someone.
Favourite Bible Verses / Passages:
Matthew 28 (The good Ol Great Commision), my first passage from the bible was John 3v16 and it speaks to me even now (over 25 years since I first heard it)
Hi Frank,
Greetings from the States!
We have a couple in our church from the UK. They are presently sailing about, and will be returning to the states soon.
Nice to make your acquaintance.

Morning. :)
Thanks for the add - good to meet another production person on here.
hello frank
praise the Lord. Am from Uganda - EAST AFRICA. I long to make friendship with aguy like you. Am a worship leader too. A pianist and Vocalist. I long to have people like you to work with in ministry. You can even plan to come to Uganda and we do ministry in singing together and your group.
hope to hear from you soon
Isaac
I am hoping to get it redone...my friend did it in his studio to help me get it done fast for my daughter's birthday. She turned 13 yesterday...the 3rd. Thank you for checking it out. :)
If you have the time, please come by my page and listen to the song I just uploaded. I am new at sharing my music, but I would love to hear some feedback. Unless, of course, you really HATE it or think it is LAME...lol
