Weding Music

I have a friend who is planning to get married and she is searching for the right music. She is in the unusual positions of having a Brass band and a string quartet at her disposal and I think she intends to use the Brass Band for the service and the String Quartet for the reception. We would welcome any suggestions of appropriate music.David Bull.See More

Best Mobile in Church

My Elderly Iphone is coming to the end of it's use full life and I wondered what would be the best replacement.A "Church phone" needs to meet certain criteria. It must have a Bible app of some sort so you have an excuse to have in turned on during sermons. It must have a good quiet mode so it can be left on during sermons.it must be easy to text during sermons. It must be able to play Utube loudly to help in rehearsals. Some of the above requirements are a little tong in cheek but it gives us two…See More

About Me:
I'm in getting old and have been married to Elwyn (For the Welsh she was named after an aunt and they both spell it the masculine way) for a long time. We have three grown up daughters.

I like dabbling in music although my Guitar stile doesn't fit to well with other people. I play High and Low whistles in one of Andover Baptist Church's 11:00 Worship bands.

I like playing with computers even though I do it for a living.

And I have bouts of playing with seriously not digital photography,

I also like Motorcycles and have been involved in mission to motorcyclists in the past.

Alrighty then!! There is no such thing as being too old to worship or we're in big trouble in eternity where we will never cease praising Him!!
I have 3 grown sons and 6 grandkids, the oldest almost 21 - sooooo I guess I'm definitely old & wrinkly lol

Hi everyone, so I'm wondering what is the benchmark for being "too old for the sell date?" I lead worship in our church and the worship pastor is 4 years older than I am & another one of our worship leaders is just outta high school. My drummer is just 17, so I think it's more a matter of the heart and ability and the Holy Spirit's enabling!!

Your old & wrinkly groups is hilarious! Very entertaining...

Not that old yet, but for some reason I sort of emote with a lot of what was said in the threads. Maybe I just age quickly. =)
