"check out "leadworship.com" Paul Baloche is excellent in bringing the cookies down to the counter. His DVD's are excellent instructional material for beginners, and intermediates."

"Lord I Lift Your Name on High is almost all G-C-D chords with an easy rythm. The Lorica (by Steve Bell) is another but the rythm is tougher as its jumps for 2/4 to 3/4 timing. Open the Eyes of My Heart (by Baloche) is also good as is Sanctuary (by…"

"I love doing the C2 +5 (the C2 that you have in your discription) and and leaving that the B and high E strings fingured that way for the G chord as well making it a G5. In fact it makes for really smooth transitions and neat harmonies by carrying…"

"unless you mean how to transition between the chords, play Gsus, and keep your pinky and ring fingers anchored on the high E and B strings on the 3rd fret. That's easier to transition between chords"

"A great song that really helped me with rhythm was "A Love Song" by Stellar Kart. The verse is literally one chord but the strumming's helpful for practicing. And also transitions are always a matter of what's going into what, so…"

"Tab is sheet music for the guitarist who doesn't read staff. Not to be correcting of Lee, but I'm used to seeing his chord tab above being written in the opposite (i.e. left low E string to right high E). The way I'm familiar, the G…"

"Another vote for the C2. Sometimes the better chord is the easier chord! If you play your G like this 3 3 0 0 2 3 instead of the old school 3 0 0 0 2 3 it allows you to anchor on the "D" in the second string. Makes things really smooth…"

"with Christian music especially, you can play C2 and it sounds even better. To do so, play a G chord and move your pointer and middle finger "down" to the next set of strings. The low E string should now be open (or muted when you get the…"
