- About Me:
- My name is Deisha-Arienne. I have been blessed with many musical gifts and enjoy using them for God's kingdom. At the age of 7, I developed a musical ear....I was able to pick out voice parts on my own, and create harmony in my mind. I started singing in the kids choir at a very young age. During 6th grade, I joined school choir and immediately fell in love with singing and reading music. I started singing in the sanctuary choir, as well as praise singing(worship leader) at the age of 11. When I turned 12, I started piano lessons. I hated it. I never wanted to go...but now it's my passion. My expertise in piano is classical music. However, I can easily play by ear. I continued school choir and eventually became a member of the Mississippi honor choir. During the summer of 2009, I attended Gospel Singers of America. I received a certificate in directing, intermediate music theory, intermediate sight reading, and intermediate ear training.REcently, I have picked up a guitar, and have a hard time putting it back down ha ha. I know the bbasics of guitar playing and really enjoy it. As I enter into college, I plan majoring in psychology and minoring in music. However, that's still a while from now. I'm a JR and Forrest County Agricultural High School. I am class of 2-12.

Where is your focus? For a while, mine was on "being cool at school." I somehow believed that I could be part of this world, and yet an Apostolic who supposedly knew the whole truth. Statements such as "It's against my religion" or "my parents won't let me" soon brought dullness instead of coolness. I was ready for real answers; to find real truth.

I SAY: OMW too much
