Lead Worshiper, Singer, Keys, Creative Ministries Director
God is my Rock, my Fortress, my Foundation! Outside of Him, I have nothing. Without Him, I am nothing. He has proven over and over to be Sustainer, Provider, Healer, Comfort, Refuge, Friend, Deliverer - God. I trust in and rely upon Him for guidance and direction. I am forever grateful for His presence in my life. I am honored that he chooses me to lead people in worship to the place where they can touch Him! It is indeed a privilege to be in His service and I pray that I remain focused on Him, handling the things that belong to Him with great care!
I am wife to Michael. He and I have been married for 19 years. We were childhood sweethearts who have endured many blessings, joys and trials over the 30 years we've known one another.
Michael and I have 4 children - Zach (21), Drae (19), J'den (13) and Chai (2). The older three are boys - then we got the princess! Our kids are all blessings.
Zach is awaiting a kidney transplant. His kidneys failed almost two years ago as a result of kidney disease. To look at him, you'd never be able to tell he is sick. He is a former high school ranked wrestler. After high school he went to welding school and is a pipe welder. He's really good! He does peritoneal dialysis every night and is (sometimes not so) patiently waiting for a donor to be a perfect match! Anybody out there have and O- kidney they're not using?
Drae is attending Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO. He, too, is a wrestler and on the team there at Lindenwood. He is an excellent wrestler and an even better student! Right now he looks a little bit like a troll because he has cauliflower ear. He used to be really cute! Just kidding...he's still pretty cute!
J'den is in junior high. He, too, is a wrestler. He has been ranked #1 in the US at his weight and age. He was also a member of the USA World Team. He is not on the national circuit right now to rest for high school and so we can devote more time to Drae and support him in his first year of college. J'den sings and plays violin. He is an incredible ad lib'er and has a great ear. He's also teaching himself sax.
Chai is two and our baby girl! She is smart and sassy and brings light to everyone she touches! She truly is a blessing.
I have recently gone back to school online to pursue my degree in Christian Studies. So now I juggle work, school, kids, husband, church, gigs...you know!
Thanks for letting me share a little of myself with all of you worship people types!

Cathy thanks for joining the Worship LEADER group! I hope you find the people, discussions, and advice helpful on your journey of being a worship leader. I look forward to learning from some of your thoughts and experiences!
I just added a discussion called Opportunity AND Community where I ask for others to share some of their community building dos and don'ts. I would love to hear some of your insights on this as well!
