About Me:
I've been leading worship for about 8 years and love moving in the prophetic as I sing. I'm so thankful I have a pastor who has always encouraged me to grow in the gift God has placed on my life. The "Calling" has given me identy. The "Gifting" has enabled me. The "Anointing" gives me the purpose. The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable, though the anointing ebbs and flows. That is dependent upon my relationship with the Holy Spirit and something I deeply desire!

All are welcome to listen to the music I uploaded. I think that people enjoy hearing how songs come about and the heart behind them.

Come Let Us Adore Him - this was recorded last December by an exhuberant sound guy who was having a great time messing with the dials. The ALF Worship Band had no idea he was recording. It was unrehearsed and very much "live" - it came as the Spirit of God lead. You'll hear some interesting mistakes (makes me cringe at about the 4:45 mark! Just couldn't make that note!!) IMHO, it gets good after 6:00. Anyway, there are times we have effects on our vocals and others we don't. Like I said, our sound guy was having fun!

The Light of Jesus - This was written by my BIL, Steven Lemieux, for his mother's funeral. I went into the studio to record it as a demo (3am!!) and it's become a favorite for people around the nation. Christian people are looking for music that speaks of their life on earth and their eternal place in heaven. This song does that.

The Lord's Prayer - My BIL Steven Lemieux took a traditional song and redid it, winning an honorable mention award with it in a national song contest.

Praise the Name of Jesus - This is the first song I wrote and recorded in 2005. My vocal style has changed since. I had the first verse for a long time and much later added the second. I was after a simple praise song that would be easy for people to sing. I want to go back and change my lead vocals on it, and it certainly needs to be finished.

The Star Is Jesus - A sweet Christmas song written by my BIL, Steven Lemieux, that I recorded as a demo.

I'm hearing the voice of God so much more clearly these days. It's in all the little things of life. Wow! I've wanted that for so long and now here I am. I love it! Well, Emme is now sleeping after a very filling bottle that should take her through the night (YAY). Me? I'm wide awake and deep in thought. I just checked out the back door and it's snowing so beautifully. The city lights are bouncing off the low-lying clouds which makes it bright enough to drive without turning your headlights on. Now I want to take a midnight spin in God's country. If only I had somewhere to go.

Disclaimer: These are my thoughts, unedited and unfinished. I say unfinished because there is always more to add. So glad to hear you are feeling better, must have been difficult.. My hubby is now a fully qualified Driving Instructor, after two years of training and a couple of set backs he passed the BIG test last Wednesday!!! Feels great!

Hi Alicia! Its a shame when legal things take so long....but its great that its all going ahead. All is OK here, My daughters and I are just back from a holiday with my sister in Northern Ireland. We had a small family reunion with my fathers cousins and their children and spouses, so I have met second and third cousins I never knew I had! Nicest thing was second cousin Ruth is a Christian and we instantly became sisters!!She played piano and sang In Christ Alone, and played Be Thou my Vision on the harp - a very special afternoon!!

Hi! Nice new profile pic :)

Twitter is easy, but lots of people don't get it. Guess it's depends how you decide to use it. Kathy's joined up now though so you have to (check her current Facebook status - haha). I've used it to meet a lot of people, and a good way of describing it is to liken it to a crowded room full of conversation...you decide who you'll talk to, and which conversations you'll listen to.

So when you join up, you can then follow all the members of the WTR group...though I use it far more than anyone else on there... :)

Echoing Sheelagh re the adoption news - v.exciting.

It is fall (or autumn as we call it), though today was 30 degrees (or over 80 in your language - *grins*) so not sure what that's about! It's our favourite season though, so we're enjoying the weather.

Meanwhile, not sure if I mentioned we have Kenneth Copeland and Jerry Savelle events coming up in May with our church...so life is a tad busier than normal on that front too!
