I am returning to the trumpet after 26 years to play with a horn section at my church that is just now getting started.  Any suggestions for good arrangements?  They are hard to find!

Hi, My name is david and I am a new member. Ihave led worship for a few years and always played acoustic guitar.  Last year I decided to go to school as a music major. As the primary focus in schoolis classical i chose a new instrument. the clarinet. I love it and play it much more than guitar. I hope to get good enough to use it to add a horn section to our worship team. I use an old d. noblet from the 40's with a moening barrel, van dorren m15 lyre mpc, rovner lig and rico royal 3's for reeds

Changing mouthpiece/reed set up can be the most frustrating process after 30 years of the using the same set up but it seems to have paid off with fatter, warmer, and easier tones. The Warburton 100 with Medium Fivereed set up is working. Recorded with it last week at the Dream Center in LA and ran 4 worship sets on Sunday.

Hey Guys,
It's good to be here with other brass people. I play a Bach Stradivarius trumpet that I bought used in 1982 in college. According to serial number it was made in 1967. Most of the time I play bass with the worship team but I have been playing trumpet some also. I wish I could do both but, alas, I'm short a few hands. :-)

I recently bought an AKAI EWI 4000s which is an electric wind controller. I love playing that but haven't been able to play it at church, yet. That day will come.

Just picked up my Jupiter Trombone after 20 years! Really loving it. Also picked up my clarinet and violin. Still playing mostly bass guitar though but Trombone is getting busy.

I've been playing worship sax for about 15 years. My Tenor is a vintage Selmer Mark VI with a Claude Lakey custom metal, 2.5 Rico Plasticoat; my Soprano is also a vintage (yet newer) Selmer Mark VI with stock mouth piece and also 2.5 Rico Plasticoat. I play Lee Oskar Harmonicas, AKAI EWI with a Roland 5050 module, and all percussion. Never play often enough!

I play a PMauriat PMXT-66R tenor sax most of the time--also do djembe/shakers/rainstick/chimes etc. when no drummer is available (been doing it most of the summer and enjoying it immensely!))
