Worship The Rock - Worship Leader Forum & Social Network

Worship Leaders Network | Worship Leader Forum | Worship Leader Resources & Jobs

I'm new to the site, and to the group, mainly because I'm trying to get some ideas generated by others who may have faced this situation before.

I've been asked to put a small group together to sing at the local YMCA Thanksgiving community lunch. We've been asked to do 1 "congregational" song and 1 special. In spite of this being the YMCA, we've also been asked to keep it pretty inclusive/sensitive.

Any thoughts out there?

Thanks in advance for helping out!

I know this is late, but I just joined the group.  "Thank You For Hearing Me" is a great song of Thanksgiving.  Its been recorded by David Crowder Band and Sinead O'Connor, so I don't think its too "church-y."
