Please Lord Jesus

"Please Lord Jesus" is a song a friend of mine wrote, and asked me to sing the chorus. Anthony has a huge heart for God, and I try to use him as much as I can during the service I lead worship in.

Please Lord Jesus, I'm down on my knees,
I need Your Spirit, to fall on me,
strengthen my hands, I am so weak,
You are the Rock that makes me strong,
when I get so stressed, and I need some rest
then I just run, into Your arms

I run into Your arms, when I'm feelin' stressed
when i'm feelin depressed, and i need alotta rest
i feel like i'ma mess,
when i put my faith in flesh,
so i count it all as loss,
and look to Jesus,
cause He is, the perfect example of a man,
and I'ma broken sinner,
tryna get by best I can,
but when I use my hands,
and think that I can earn grace,
I fall, flat on my face,
Please remind me that You're great

I'd don't belong here, Jesus come and get me quick,
all this sin surrounding me, it really makes me sick,
these people here are more concerned concerned with they self,
then i look into the mirror, and i see myself,
and I wanna barf,
cause i know about them thoughts i had yesterday,
now i'm feelin stressed today,
i need a brief getaway,
pause, i need a permenant fix,
so I seek holiness,

Phillipians 4:13, I can do,
