Hey All,

I'd like your feed back on this.

The recording is a very rough demo.  I intend on putting a full band on this once I'm satisfied with the lyrics, melodies, chording, etc.

I'd like to hear from You.

TRUST YOU

w/m by Russell Henderson

(c) 2011 Russell Henderson/IGNITE Worship Ministries

Verse 1
I trust You for healing, I trust You for strength
I trust You for wisdom to get me through each day
Faced with a mountain that only You can move
I will trust in You

Chorus
For You are my everything, greater than anything
You satisfy the longing in my soul
No matter what comes my way, my faith in You will stay
O Lord, I'll never let Go

Verse 2
I trust You for mercy, I trust You for grace
I trust You in every circumstance I face
Wounded and shaken, still I will not be moved
I will trust in You

Bridge
You know me, You see me
You will never, never leave me

Hi Russel

Nice to see you here!

This reminds me of a Barry Manilo tune, something about your voice and the piano. Very Nice!

Well, I don't think it needs it needs a band, you do a nice job!

some nits

I think you might try going to the chorus right after the first verse, and not repeat the first verse before the chorus.

You do that later, and that seems better. Or sing the second verse if you want 2 verse before the chorus.

 Chorus is good and solid!

I think the bridge needs a little bit more of a change, it seems to just stay there and  I hear it ( with such powerful words) to take me somewhere grander. I dont think you need so much music before the bridge, you kind of loose the momentum.... maybe if you just use the second time you sing the bridge - it is more dynamic, go to there... do that kind of bridge immediately after the chorus..... then after the bridge use the music to bring it down again and go back into the verses.

I hope i am explaining myself clearly

all in all, a very nice song

of course, just my amatuer opinion, take or leave

Thanks for the help, Angela.

Hi Russell,

This is a beautiful song!  I agree with Angela, it doesn't really need a whole band behind it. Perhaps some strings in places.

But I really like the bridge just as it is.

Thank you for sharing!

Dave

Dave,

Thanks for the critique

Great sounds! Nice piano movements. Flows very well with your voice. I think this sounds like a great prayer song.

The bridge makes this song move like air. Very well written.

God Bless

Alfred
