I love the melody line of this song. I don't know if it really is a congregational song or not. It has a great pop feel to it. As I started to listen I could imagine it in a soundtrack to a movie. I can't stop humming it now, darn you!! just kidding.
hey bizzy...
cool that you like it. i`ve to think about your point that it may not be a congrgational song. maybe you`re right. anyways... thanks for your support. daniel-john
I really like it. You're very creative. However, I hear it with electric, bass and drum driven. If any keys i would use synth groove stuff. It's very contemporary. Don't worry that happens to me sometimes too. I'm a guitar player. I'll write a song using the guitar and someone will say "I like but it should be piano led not guitar led." Anyway. hope the comment helps. Thanks for sharing! It is a very good song!
hey david.... your feedback is very inspiring. i will try to work that out for sure. thanks so much for your comment it really helps. daniel-john
Dear Daniel,

Greeting and thanks for sharing. The sound quality of this recording was very good, mixed well, music and lyrics easily discernible. Nice Balance like I was right in the room with you. I was reminded of another artist named David Meece which I would not at all mind being compared to. God's voice within me certainly is my favorite lyric within the text, knowing His voice, the same voice which is the personage of the mysterious Tri-une Deity / Spirit which spoke everything into existence speaks to us. This is an incredible and yet very personal experience, as He speaks to us all differently yet His word says we as His children shall know His voice. I enjoyed it, and look forward to other posts by you.

In Him!!!

Very cool bossanova groove! I'm hearing a cool hand drum groove on this... I'm wierd like that though! :))

Great lyrics.... Dug it!
Cool piano playing. Different and fresh. The first two words in the verses are fuzzy to me. Is it "Led by?" I think they should come out clearer. This song has a pleading sound to it. A desperation to achieve those things for the world. I liked that. Wish I could play like that. You are inspiring me to take some lessons. = ) God bless you Daniel. Thank you for sharing.

Daniel-john! I love it!! Great feel, I sense the passion and urgency.
I'm way behind in listening to all the latest posts on the Songwriter's Circle - and now I'm glad I was OCD about listening to each one b/c this is really great.
I liked it with the piano - it might sound more contemporary with guitars or maybe more congregational ... maybe??? But I think it already sounded really fresh and contemporary. David Meece is alright and has some amazing songs from back in the day, but this is great and doesn't feel 10 yrs old (in case you had that worry when you checked into David Meece).
:)
Great job.
