It’s so easy to praise you

Within eyeshot of a miracle

When a miracle has just been by

It would take a miracle to worship you

With no miracle in sight

Waited on the LORD

I tried to move on

Make my own miracle

I worked my self to the bone

For the miracle I tried to hone

Pushing for a miracle of an open door

Was I on the wrong side?

The owner of the pig sty

Is calling me on my phone

Asking me if I’m all right

And if I need a home

He says I’m welcome anytime

To be tending his pigs again

For a fattened calf

In my father’s house
