Hey guys, this is a song I wrote with Michael Whittaker, a great producer from LA. This is a very rock vibe worship tune, with a kind of chant that gets very congregational. We're singing it at my home church Oasis, in Nashville, this weekend, so it'll be cool to see how it goes over. Let me know your thoughts. It's a demo, but good enough to critique. Much love. Also, to everyone who's been asking, I'm getting my CCLI thing worked out, so all my songs will shortly be available on there. Also, I've got a 5 song worship EP coming out that should be pretty cool. Details coming soon on that. Much love to everyone here on Worship The Rock. Good to have you as my online worship family!

Hi Kurtis - another great tune! Didn't grab me as much as "It is Finished", but obviously it is a very different song! I could definitely see this one working congregationally (maybe not so much with the "oh oh oh" at the start and between sections - but sounds good for the recording). A great prayer of our dependance on God. Looking forward to being able to find your songs on CCLI.
An interesting synth effect at the start - the feedback from my son was along the lines of "What's that sound Dad??" - but I wouldn't be too concerned about that feedback - he's only 4 :-)

Thanks for sharing this song,
Grant
hi Kurtis,

the Power of the Holy Spirit gives the right direction
has HE not sent HIS lambs (us) among the wolves (into this world) to harvest by the Power of the Holy Spirit

Yes you are indeed an anointed song writer or else you cannot get varieties and as well make feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. (there are many who can write varieties without the presence of the Holy Spirit)

Jesus Bless you

I really like the message and heart's cry of this song. The verses seemed to blend in the with chorus, meaning they didn't stand out. But I believe the message of the song is needed to be sung in the churches. Great job Kurtis. Thank you for sharing your songs with us when they are in the process. You are a very gifted songwriter and artist. = )
